Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai) was the 1st NLU to be established in the state of Maharashtra. In the 6 short years since its inception in October 2014, MNLU has earned an enviable reputation for a new university in the field of Legal Education. Through its modern methods of teaching, the research-oriented study focussed mentorship, and guidance to each student, the University has been shattering countless barriers.

Situated in the financial capital of the country, the MNLU Mumbai has been able to leverage its strategic locational advantage and carved out a niche for itself in the field of Corporate and Commercial Law, Banking Laws and Arbitration Law. The motto of the University is in sync with the demands of the current day and age, where lawyers need to be compassionate and well-rounded individuals. In furtherance of achieving these goals, the University has set up specialised Centres of Excellence. The various committees and societies of the University (for example the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society and the Moot Court Society) are built under the aegis of these Centres of Excellence.
